Beta Pharma is headquartered in US with multiple R&D sites including New Haven, CT and Beijing, China.

Beta Pharma China, located in Yi Zhuang High Tech Park in Beijing, was established 2003. It employs 80 staffs and has capabilities in GMP chemistry manufactory facility, modern drug discovery and development laboratory. It is responsible for advancing Icotinib to Ph3 development. It is led by an experienced management team who are trained in the United States. Beta Pharma China intends to build marketing capabilities for commercialization of icotinib at middle of 2009.

Partnering

It is our belief that by partnering we will generate greater value for our products and our partners, will bring better and more products to patients faster. Beta Pharma actively seek partners to collaborate in the following manners:

Research Collaborations: We seek collaborations with academic institutions to conduct studies that enable characterization of biological and pharmaceutical properties of our products. We are interested in collaborating with investigators in wider research community on projects that might lead to the generation of pharmaceutical therapeutics.

In Licensing: Our R&D capabilities in China can help partners to enter clinical trials in China and gain entry into the China market. We are interested in licensing late Phase products including Ph3, registered and approved products outside China. We are also interested in licensing early pre-POC products to conduct value added studies so that our partners can best utilize their resources to advance more products better and faster.

Out Licensing: To ensure optimal development of our products Beta Pharma will look to partner our products after filing IND in US and as we progress towards Phase 2 clinical development.
